Alex Glassey, CEO
Alex is the founder and CEO of StratPad Inc. StratPad’s award-winning software represents the best of what Alex has learned in his 30+ years of experience as a serial entrepreneur and advisor to small and medium-sized businesses. StratPad provides a simple, practical approach to business planning that makes sense for entrepreneurs. Based in Victoria, BC, Canada, Alex is a former “big five” management consultant turned entrepreneur with four successful startups to his credit. Over the years, he has advised hundreds of small businesses on growth and innovation strategies. A dynamic and engaging speaker, Alex presents to business groups worldwide and offers workshops and video-based training on strategy and business planning. Alex is an adjunct professor in the entrepreneurial program at Royal Roads University in Victoria. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Alex’s dream is to buy a boat and sail BC’s Inside Passage to Haida Gwaii. Go StratPad!
Julian Wood, CTO
Julian is the architect and lead software developer for StratPad. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Julian is an entrepreneur and the co-owner for the Noodle Box franchise in Alberta. He and his partners recently opened their first Noodle Box restaurant in Airdrie, Alberta. Julian started his career in medical research and went on earn a master’s degree in Molecular Genetics. Bitten by entrepreneurial bug, he founded or co-founded a series of tech ventures, including Mobilesce Inc., the mobile applications company that began development on StratPad. He joined the StratPad team as CTO in 2012. In his spare time, Julian plays Ultimate Frisbee, soccer and hockey. He also volunteers with the Canadian Ski Patrol System, which rescues and treats injured skiers and snowboarders at Kicking Horse Resort in Golden, BC.
Lewis Glassey, Business Development
Lewis develops and manages online marketing and social media for StratPad, as well as our Affiliate program. He also contributes to the StratPad blog and provides customer support. A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Lewis now lives in Victoria, BC. Lewis is a Red Seal certified chef and graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute at Vancouver Island University. Before starting work with StratPad, he has worked at restaurants in Canada, Australia and Europe.
